Slovenia addresses UNSC on behalf of the Human Security Network

New York, 17 April 2013 - Today Slovenia addressed UNSC's debate on Women and Peace and Security. The statement was made on behalf of the Human Security Network.

Human Security Network is an informal group of like-minded states which, recognizing the linkages between peace, development and human rights, addresses the contemporary challenges of international community in a people-centered, comprehensive, context-specific and prevention-oriented way. Members of the group include: Austria, Chile, Costa Rica, Greece, Ireland, Jordan, Mali, Norway, Panama, Switzerland, Thailand, Slovenia and South Africa as an observer.
